Photographers wake up smiling on grey days because the flat light makes for great shoot conditions. Some of our best images were taken on cloudy days and even in light drizzle. So don’t worry. Most of our locations have a mixture of indoor, outdoor and under cover spaces. We also have some warm, dry back up locations for the worst weather. So, you’ll be very unlucky if we need to postpone. Should that happen, we’ll offer you a range of replacement dates to choose from.

In the information we’ll send you after booking, is some useful advice on preparing for your shoot. Some things you might like to bring on the day include: make up for touch ups, a snack, couple of outfit changes, and any hats, scarves or other accessories.

We process all our images in Lightroom or Photoshop. We optimize the composition, exposure, sharpness and colours to make sure all our images are technically great. If we think a photo would be improved by the removal of a stray hair, blemish or distracting background feature, we’ll do that. What we don’t do is obvious airbrushing or misleading rework. After all, we want your dates to recognize you when you meet up!
